About Montrē
Built from experience & Defined by standards
Montrē began with a master builder who practiced many years inside the industry, observing how easily quality slips when work is rushed and homes lose the level of care they deserve.
That experience shaped Josh Hodges’ view that a home should support the way a family lives, entertains, rests, and grows; that it requires a level of attention beyond standard building practice.
Montrē is the result of that belief.
Where the Standard was Formed
Josh’s path through residential building gave him exposure to major names, large-scale systems, and the realities of how homes are delivered when speed, volume, and process begin to take priority.
That experience mattered. It taught him what strong building practice looks like, what clients need when they are making one of the biggest investments of their lives, and just as importantly, where the cracks tend to form when too much is left to assumption, haste, or diluted oversight.
The longer he spent in the industry, the clearer it became that the homes worth remembering were built with considered decisions and not in haste.
They were the ones built with discipline, care, and a genuine respect for the brief from the beginning.
The Montrē Philosophy
What sits behind the name
At its core, Montrē is built on a simple idea: exceptional homes should never be the product of compromise.
They should feel resolved in the way they sit on the land, in the way they support everyday life, and in the way they hold their quality over time. They should carry a sense of permanence. A sense of calm. A sense that the decisions behind them were made with effortless intent.
A new standard
